This Wednesday May 16th at 12pm PST, Fernando Stalla, will be joining the cast of the Wake Up SUP Show. He is a young and rising star in the SUP world and will dazzle you with his chiseled look and great smile, but how much do you really know about this waterman from Mexico?
Now is your chance to find out! Elite SUP surfer and racer, Candice Appleby, along with elite SUP surfer and Supconnect entrepreneur, Andre Niemeyer, are ready to reveal all. They will spend about an hour with Fernando, broadcasting live and in high definition, to discuss how he got started in stand up paddle, what his training routines consist of, who he likes to paddle with, what his lifestyle is like and what he hopes to achieve.
As a young 25 year old traveling the globe among the world's best in the industry, Fernando is certain to share great stories and insight that will be both fun and entertaining. This is especially true considering all of his recent traveling and SUP successes such as winning the Waikiki Paddle Festival Open race in Hawaii and winning the Standup for Clean Water Race in Santa Monica, CA. He also took second place just behind 2011 Battle of the Paddle Champion Connor Baxter in the Paddle for Humanity Rally Race in Dana Point, CA. He is really leaving a mark on the SUP racing world, but what's more is that Fernando is also an incredible SUP surfer!
So stand by and get ready to hear Fernando tell his story from beginning to end. Join the live show on the Supconnect Website or view it on your mobile device by simply downloading the "Ustream App" and then selecting the Supconnect channel. Phone calls will be taken during a live question and answer session, so prepare your thoughts now and call in to 858-348-4495 at the appropriate time or tweet your questions and comments to @Supconnect.
