Dave Kalama, SUP legend and pioneer, will be hosting 7th annual Turks & Caicos Kalama Kamp this October 7-14th in association with the leading adventure outfitter, Big Blue Unlimited. The Turks & Caicos Islands as a paddle board destination have proven addictive since Kalama’s first visit in 2010 together with John Denney, sports psychologist and paddlefit pro.
“This trip is Kalama Kamp’s best kept secret. Being a part of Kalama Kamp for the last 8 years we have traveled to many beautiful places. For sheer variety, Turks and Caicos may be the prettiest of them all. Over the years it has provided some of the best beginner waves we have ever had and some of the biggest waves we have had at Kalama Kamp. Teaming up with Big Blue Unlimited we are never at a loss for amazing paddle board adventures and first class service. If you have ever thought of attending a Kalama Kamp this one is a winner every time”.

The six-day Kamp aimed at people who simply love to be on the water to explore and experience the waterman’s lifestyle while learning and having fun. Beginners to experts, singles and couples (even if one doesn’t paddle!) are welcome in equal measure. The week focuses on proper paddling techniques best used when catching waves or exploring the backcountry of these stunning islands. Half days, full days, dawn patrols or sunset paddles go hand in hand with the stunning ocean that surrounds these islands 600 miles southeast of Miami, Florida.
Turks and Caicos are easy to get to with beautiful accommodations. From $4700 not including airfare. For more information please contact dave@kalamakamp.com or info@bigblueunlimited.com.
