On Saturday March 8th, 2014, Naish’s Casper Steinfath took a break from chasing solid swell along Northern California’s coastline to accumulate a gold finish at the 5th Annual Mongoose Cup.
The Mongoose Cup was Casper’s first race of the 2014 season, and his stellar performance left little to the imagination. After competing in various knockout heats to reach the finals, Casper and his Naish Javelin 12’6” LE pushed through the course to take a well-deserved 1st place.
“It was amazing to be a part of this great event hosted by Mickey Munoz at Dana Point harbor. It was amazing to see so many young paddlers at the starting line…the sport of stand up paddling just keeps evolving more and more with each race!” – Casper Steinfath
Congratulations Casper! Stoked for you!
