SIC Maui Elevates Tommy Buday To Their Global Team

SAN CLEMENTE, California - SIC Maui is extremely proud to announce the selection of Tommy Buday to join the ranks of its elite team of Global Athletes. Tommy Buday is one of the hardest working athletes in SUP and as a 3x Olympian he is certainly no stranger to competing at the highest levels of international paddle sports competition. “Tommy’s passion for paddling makes him a perfect addition to SIC’s global team. He is a consummate professional who consistently gives 100 percent and I know he will continue to represent us well on and off the water,” said Jeff Baillargeon, SIC’s Brand Manager.

Tommy resides in Montreal, Quebec with his wife Stephanie and two high energy young boys, Tristan and Liam. He competed with his brother rain tandem sprint canoes (C2) on the international circuit and are 3x Silver Medalists at the Sprint Canoe World Championships and represented Canada at three Olympic Games before retiring in 2008. Tommy works full time in Montreal for the City of Pointe-Claire at the Pointe-Claire Canoe Club as a Senior Development Coach training young athletes to reach their goals at the provincial, national or international levels. He will be representing SIC at the Carolina Cup this April, in addition to a number of clinics and events throughout the year.
