SUPIA Sponsors 1st Annual Youth Paddle Days

DANA POINT, California - Over the weekend of May 16-19, events will be held all over the US, Canada, and the Bahamas focused on getting young people outside & on the water enjoying the fastest growing water sport, Stand Up Paddleboarding. Retailers, Manufacturers, Instructors, Sales Reps, Coaches & Media members of the SUP Industry Association are teaming up to hold these events at no charge on waterways all over the country and abroad.

From open houses to lessons and clinics, the focus will be on getting young people on the water for a safe & positive experience that leads to increased Stand Up Paddleboarding involvement.

Some of the Saturday events will be teaming up with ‘Ready, Set, Wear It!’ annual effort to break their World Record for number of people wearing lifejackets.
