5. Vaz Brothers & Friends Shred In New SUP Surf Edit: New Age III

The Vaz brothers from Brazil are two of the most talented SUP surfers in today’s generation of stand up paddlers pushing to progress stand up paddle (SUP) surfing. They’ve just released a new surfing edit from their travels to Tahiti, Hawaii, Baja California and at home in Rio de Janeiro with a couple of their friends Felippe Gaspar and Lucas Medeiros and they all are ripping. 4. Connor Baxter Grabs 5th Title, New Women’s Champion Emerges At 2016 Olukai Ho’olaule’a

Maui did not disappoint for day two of the 8th annual OluKai Hoʻolauleʻa three-day ocean festival with local Connor Baxter and new women’s champion Sonni Hönscheid taking home the gender equal prize purse of $15,000. The prestigious eight-mile Stand Up Paddle (SUP) race saw over 325 of the world’s elite paddlers battle it out on the famous Maliko Downwind Run on Maui’s North Shore, the highest amount of contenders in this race to date. 1. Kai Lenny Introduces Downwind Hydrofoiling

Kai Lenny has always been pushing the boundaries of stand up paddling and he’s just done it again by introducing a new crossover of sorts with a hydrofoil and his SUP, making it his craft of choice for a downwinder.
