World's Best Stand Up Paddlers To Compete This Weekend At 2015 Pacific Paddle Games

CARLSBAD, California - The world’s best stand up paddle boarders are set to compete at the first-ever Pacific Paddle Games presented by Salt Life this Saturday and Sunday at Doheny State Beach in the beautiful Dana Point, California. With a $55,000-prize purse on the line, the biggest prize ever offered in paddling, it’s no surprise that all the best in the world are en route to Southern California this week from Europe, Tahiti, Japan, Australia and all over the States. The forecast is looking solid as well with waves anticipated in the three-to-five foot (head high plus) range all weekend, which should make for an exciting and challenging event.

“With a sizable swell on the horizon and a competitor list featuring the best paddlers in the world, the inaugural Pacific Paddle Games will be an unforgettable event,” says SUP magazine editor-in-chief, Will Taylor.
