SIC Signs Brazilian ‘Brothers of Paddle’ To 2019 Team

The 2018 Supconnect Brand of the Year, SIC Maui, has announced its team of world-class athletes and ambassadors representing the brand in 2019. Among the Global Athletes, SIC proudly welcomes new Brazilian team riders Guilherme Dos Reis and David Leão, two unknowns who made their way to the 2018 Pacific Paddle Games against amazing odds, and landed on the elite podium.

Record Numbers Gather at 8th Annual Corinth Canal

On Sunday October 7th 2018, the vessel traffic in the Corinth Canal was interrupted for 434 paddlers, where they lined up just before the sinking bridge of Isthmia for the 8th Annual Corinth Canal SUP Crossing. This year the race was a milestone for the sport of SUP in Greece but also for the event itself.

Seychelle and Michael Booth Take Out Battle Of The Bay

San Francisco Bay welcomed paddlers for the 8th Annual Battle of the Bay over the weekend. The conditions were relatively calm, yet still made for a fun and competitive race for the international athletes. In the end, SIC Maui’s Seychelle and Starboard’s Michael Booth were too good, once again asserting their dominance in the distance.

Dragon World Championships Takes Austria By Storm

On the 31st of August – 2nd September 2018 the Dragon World Championships, the world’s only team SUP racing event, arrived on the mystical mountain lined shores of Lake Fuschl, Austria. 36 teams representing 17 countries congregated at the event village Fuschlseebad to battle it out on their 22ft inflatable Dragon boards and claim the title of Dragon World Champion 2018.
