The APP is proud to officially launch its 2019 Global Qualification System to provide a structured pathway to 2020 qualification to the APP World Tour.
Registration for SEA Paddle NYC 2019 is now open. The event, to be held Saturday, August 3, is a 25-mile competitive and charity paddle around Manhattan which is considered one of the premier SUP and prone paddle events in the world.
This year for its 6th annual event, the Air France Paddle Festival saw new champions and cemented itself as one of the best race events of the year. Japan’s Yuka Sato and New Caledonia’s Titouan Puyo claimed victory, surviving brutally-hot conditions and outlasting spirited attacks from the local warriors in a memorable day of racing.
Ahoy paddlers! Are you ready to embark on a great adventure, for a good cause, with a wonderful crew? Crossing For A Cure would love to welcome you aboard. This year’s journey from Bimini to Florida, scheduled for June 15, is open to stand up or prone boards, surf skis, outrigger canoes and dories, with a potential of $100,000 in cash purses for the competitive categories. You can paddle as a solo or relay competitor, or as part of a recreational relay team.

Italy’s premier Stand Up Paddle event will be held in Florence from Friday 10 May to Sunday 12 May on the Arno River in the iconic setting of the Ponte Vecchio. For the first time the Italian competition becomes part of the APP World Tour.

In a very unfortunate announcement today, SUP Magazine is announcing it will not hold the 2019 Pacific Paddle Games (PPG). Despite its decision to no longer produce the event, SUP Magazine is working with its sanctioning partner, the Association of Paddlesurf Professionals (APP), and California State Parks to explore options to bring PPG back in 2020.
