Attending a standup paddle boarding event is one of the best ways to enjoy the sport. It’s the perfect place to be introduced to the sport as a spectator, it’s a great place to learn and try new products, and it’s also a great way to connect with those who enjoy the sport just as much as you do. March 2019 Paddle Boarding Events
101 SURF SPORTS PADDLE RACE SAN RAFAEL
Racing action in SUP, Prone, Outrigger, Surfski, Kayak, The Event is limited to 101 people/entrants no exceptions. Register online or risk losing out. New this year is our Inflatable Paddleboard Category. We are stoked on the performance of these boards and look forward to seeing lots of inflatables out on the race course. We even have a dedicated inflation station set for you to make pumping up easy. Rent a SUP, Kayak, Surfski, or prone with paddle, and life jacket for the race for only $30. This is a perfect race for first time racers and elite athletes alike.

BEACH N’ BOARDS FEST
Stand-Up Paddle for a Good Cause! This 1 and 5 mile SUP, OC & Surfski paddle race benefits the Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Program and is happening at 5000 Tom Warriner Blvd. (Pavilion at Cocoa Beach Country Club). Online registration is required and costs $20 per person; $35 for OC2. All entry fee proceeds go to the Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Program. Get ready for a fun race morning on the Banana River!

PNW ORCA WINTER SERIES RACE 6
The race is on a very fast course with strong downstream currents in the main channel and weaker upstream currents in a back channel behind Sand Island. It will start/finish about ½ mile upstream from the world’s tallest totem pole and proceed downstream to the bottom of Sand Island. It will continue behind the island to its upper end and finish on a downstream leg to the start/finish line. The long course is approx. 6.0 miles. There will also be a short course for novice and SUP paddlers. The course will be around Sand Island. The short course is approx. 4.0 miles. This is the 3rd of 7 races in the Winter Series, with the first 5 place finishers in each division earning points for end of season awards.

101 SURF SPORTS PADDLE RACE REDWOOD CITY
The 2018 Race Season at 101 Surf Sports is on with racing action in SUP, Prone, Outrigger, Surfski, Kayak, and SUP. Event is limited to 101 entrants no exceptions. 9TH ANNUAL ADLER PADDLER
The Adler Paddler is a free paddle race held every year in March.The Adler Paddler has multiple divisions including a "Fun Race." If you don't have a board and would like to rent, arrangements can be made prior to race day, through STAND UP RENTALS LONG BEACH. In addition, PFD’s Personal Flotation Devices are required. Racers have the option of paddling the short course: 2.8 miles, and long course 5.6 miles. Short course racers will perform 1 loop around Alamitos Bay while Long Corse racers perform 2 laps.

WILD BUFFALO RACE
The Wild Buffalo Relay is an all new small craft relay race within the SoCal Ocean Racing winter series. The race includes all small craft divisions with relay teams of 2-4 people (depending on the craft). The race runs from Two Harbors, Catalina Island, CA to Newport Beach, CA. This is a 41 mile course.

SANTA CRUZ PADDLEFEST
Come join the planets longest running paddle surfing competition as we notch our 33rd year on March 28th to 31st 2019! The Santa Cruz Paddlefest (SCPF) hosts elite level kayak surfing and SUP surfing at the legendary break, Steamer Lane, and an intermediate category at the friendlier Cowells beach. Additionally, a race along the Iconic Santa Cruz Boardwalk is set for Saturday which welcomes SUP, surf ski, sea Kayaks, prone boards, and outrigger canoes. With such a variety of events, there is something for everyone at the Santa Cruz Paddlefest!

POLAR PADDLE - SOUTH END SURF N PADDLE AND ALO 2019
Just because winter has rolled around doesn’t mean you can’t still sneak out on the water for some fun. Throw on your wetsuits and booties, a wool cap and join us for a winter paddle race in the frigid (hopefully not frozen) waters of Barnegat Bay. After the race join us at the shop to warm up and enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers, hot beverages, and the award ceremony.

EXPEDITION FRANKFORT: RUN|RIDE|PADDLE
Come welcome the spring season with the inaugural Expedition Frankfort: Run | Bike | Paddle, - the commonwealth's newest family friendly adventure triathlon, Expedition Frankfort: Run | Bike | Paddle. We created the event to showcase Kentucky’s capital city of Frankfort (our base camp) as the ultimate adventure town. The event consists of a 3.7 mile run, 6 mile MTB ride, and 5.5 mile paddle on the Kentucky River. Also there is a paddle only stage race. A portion of the proceeds from Expedition Frankfort will go to support our new Wood + Water + People Fund, along with the Kentucky Mountain Bike Association, and other community initiatives. You can either do the event solo or as part of a team.

SPRING PADDLE CHALLENGE AT FLYING FISH PADDLE SPORTS
Join us for the Spring Paddle Challenge at Flying Fish Paddle Sports. Featuring both an Elite race (7 miles) and an Open race (3 mile) race course. Races will start promptly at 9:00am, race day registration will be from 7:30am to 8:30am. Race fee includes a t-shirt, lunch and beverages. Awards will be given to the top three overall in gender and age, for the elite and open race. (as long as there are 3 competitors). The race will be located at the shop Flying Fish Paddle Sports 4969 SE Dixie Hwy. Stuart, FL 34997
