SupConnect Sharing SUP Secrets & How To's in 2013

Learning "HowTo SUP" on flatwater first is one of the most basic yet best tips around!

SAN DIEGO, California - With Stand Up Paddle growing at such a rapid pace it's no secret that there are many new paddlers coming onto the scene.  Some are experienced watermen while others have hardly ever touched large bodies of water.  This makes for quite a variety of skill sets and knowledge.  Yet no matter what the level of expertise, everyone still seems to have questions.

As SupConnect launches into 2013 many of those questions will be answered.  Some may be as basic as discussing how to get racks for your car that will transport the SUP board and showing how to strap the board to the car so that the unpleasant experience of "flying boards" while driving can be minimized thus keeping everyone more safe.

Part of the 2013 editorial conversations will also include more technical conversations about stroke, and how to create a positive drafting experience while participating in SUP racing.  Also on the docket are topics like perfecting the buoy turn and learning how to SUP surf in your later years having had no prior surfing experience.

Please let us know what you would like to add to this list.  The SupConnect team encourages everyone to be as specific as possible and to list your ideas and "how to sup" questions in the comments below.  Please do not spare any thought and be as specific as possible. Thanks!
