Air France Paddle Festival To Kick Off 2019 Paddle League World Tour

PAPEETE, Tahiti - Located in one of the most beautiful places on earth, the Air France Paddle Festival is not only an event for the elite but is an event that hosts races for kids and amateur paddlers alike. The event is one of the largest, if not the largest race in the South Pacific and really aims to be an all-inclusive event that is fun for the entire family. With a vendor village, music, a beautiful white sand beach and more, this event is one that is not to be missed.

The 2019 Air France Paddle Festival will be on April 6, and offers five different races:

• Kids Race - 2km
• Fun Race - 1.5km
• Lagoon Race - 8km
• Prone Race - 8km
• Elite Race - 24km

The combined value of prizes and cash offered for the winners of each race totals up to $28,000.

If last year’s elite race was any indication of what you can expect at the Air France Paddle Festival, then this year should be quite the treat. For its 6th annual event, and second year as part of the Paddle League World Tour, the Air France Paddle Festival really kicks off the Paddle League World Tour with a challenging course that puts even the best of the best to the test.
