Boardworks Announces Stand Up Paddleboard for Women

CARLSBAD, California - Late last summer Boardworks was honored to receive a request from REI: Create a women's specific SUP that has a smart, versatile performance hull design with beautiful, inspiring graphics. We presented our concept for the Muse, they loved it and now the boards have finally arrived just in time for Spring. 

Boardworks is excited to introduce the Muse, a new stand up paddleboard designed specifically for women. Beautiful and inspiring, the Muse is the perfect all around Stand Up Paddle board for exploring a large variety of waterways from flatwater to surf. At 32″ wide the Muse is stable and comfortable in glassy or choppy waters while the refined shape provides smooth glide with good surf performance for small waves. This board is equipped with a thin and light weight croc-skin deck pad for superior comfort and traction enabling hours of paddling without the foot fatigue that occurs with some other deck pads. The pad is also great for sup yoga.

The Muse is constructed with a light weight EPS core, layers of fiberglass, and epoxy resin, making it light, easy to handle, and durable. It is equipped with a comfortable FCS finger well handle for easy carrying and a bungee system for transporting gear. It includes a 9" dolphin fin that works well for all types of paddling.
