“The staff of Outside Hilton Head is very excited at the return of our paddleboard race series. These events are great for the whole family, with kids races and bonus rounds being run based on the turnout at each race day. You do not need to be a hardcore paddleboard racer to participate, or even win, with points being awarded for participation, placement and fun bonus events. Since it’s inception, The Fast! Fun! Free! Paddleboard Race Series has grown considerably. We had a great turnout for our last series in May, and hope to keep the momentum going for this September series! With the focus of these event’s being good, old-fashioned fun, we hope to see lots of new faces and plenty of familiar ones. As always, the events are free. This year we are partnering with The Outside Foundation, and will be encouraging donations to this great organization!” said Jessie Renew, one of the race series’ organizers.
