SAN DIEGO, California - Maintaining your pump is easy. Red Paddle Co. has designed their pump to be as maintenance free as possible, but if you do need to maintain your pump, here's how to do it:
1. Remove screws
First thing you'll need: a Screwdriver. Use the screwdriver to remove the screws from the top of the pump.
2. Pull pump apart
Once the screws are removed, pull the pump apart and check inside for any dirt or sand that can be cleaned out. Do the same for the end of the pump shaft.
3. Check O Ring
Check to see if the O ring is in place and make sure the gasket is also in place.
4. Remove handle
Remove the handle at the top of the pump by hand if you ever have a problem with it, you can replace it with a new one which is easily screwed on.
5. Put back together
Put the pump back together by reversing the steps above.
Red Paddle Co. aims to make their pump simple and easy to operate as possible, to reduce the amount of maintenance you require so you can paddle more often.
