5th Annual Dana Point Harbor Hoot Returns

DANA POINT, California – The 5th Annual Infinity SUP Dana Point Harbor Hoot, presented by Webb’s Grainworks and official food sponsor Board & Brew, returns on Saturday, October 12, 2024. This family-friendly paddling event invites participants of all ages and skill levels for a fun day of water-based activities. The event features the 3K Channel Scoot, Harbor Hustle, and Baby Beach Bolt Team Relay. A $40 fee includes entry for all three events, an event towel, lunch from Board & Brew and the participant only raffle.

The day is set to be full of energy and fun, with three dynamic events that offer something for paddlers of all skill levels:

• 3K Channel Scoot: Cruise through the picturesque Dana Point Harbor channel with close to 200 other outdoor enthusiasts.
• Harbor Hustle: An M-shaped course with a beach start and beach finish. There are the separate divisions for raceboards and non-raceboards.
• Baby Beach Bolt Team Relay: A 4-person relay that adds an element of camaraderie and teamwork to the day's festivities, ensuring fun and laughter for all. Costumes or team uniforms are encouraged.

Founded by local surf icons Steve and Barrie Boehne, Infinity SUP's legacy will be celebrated throughout the day. It’s only fitting that participants will pass by the Boehne’s statue on PCH as they head to Baby Beach, a tribute to the pioneers who helped shape the sport’s global reach. Steve and Barrie will also be participating in the 3K Channel Scoot, along with their son Dave Boehne. Dave is the SUP board designer and says this about the Harbor Hoot, “It is our favorite event of the year.”
