MANHATTAN BEACH, California - Following news of a shark-related incident this weekend in Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles, where a swimmer was bitten by a Great Whiten, this video hit the web. Shot by photographer, Bo Bridges, it shows a surfer going right over a Great White with no drama.
Manhattan Beach is quickly becoming a game park where you can see juvenile Great Whites cruising around on the regular. While this weekend's incident definitely serves as a reminder that we're not on top of the food chain in the ocean (not naturally, in any case), it's still amazing how calm an unaggressive the interaction between people and the sharks has been.
